Mark and Sherrah Bartholomew

I, Mark, attended Universal Technical Institute in Arizona for 2 years and graduated with my Associates degree in automotive repair. I also graduated the BMW STEP Program, which focused on specialized training in BMW and Mini Cooper repair, becoming a BMW Diagnostic Specialist. After working at the dealership in Spokane, Washington, my wife, Sherrah, and I moved our family to Sparks, where I also became a ASE Master technician. I worked at Bavarian Auto Haus for 10 years. We bought the shop in July of 2022, and have since made it what it is today. Sherrah and I are actively present at the shop and love working along side some of the best mechanics.

We have 3 children, who are a part of our business. Landon was an apprentice here for 2 years and now lives in Arizona, where he works at another European repair shop. Our oldest daughter, Asia, works at the shop in the front part time during the summer months, and our youngest Lila takes part in the shop by being part of our advertising and bossing everyone around.

We love spending time with our children and our 2 dogs. We enjoy watching UFC, movies, playing board games, and relaxing on the weekends.

Bob Silvernail

I started out as a lube technician and a used car inspector apprentice, at the Volkswagen dealership in Livermore, California, when I was young. I grew up around the automotive industry, with my dad being a Volkswagen mechanic all my life. In 2001, I started a goal to become a Volkswagen Certified Master Technician, and after 15 years of specialized training, I have achieved that. I have extensive knowledge in diagnostics and procedures in all things Volkswagen. I came to Bavarian Auto Haus in February of 2025.

I enjoy spending time with my wife, Jeannette, my 3 daughters, and my adorable granddaughter. In my free time play golf, corn hole, and put together Lego sets. I am also a die hard Detroit Lions fan.

Bryce Deahl

I am a veteran of the Army. I deployed to Afghanistan from 2011-2012. I served as a Track Vehicle Mechanic from 2009-2016. I then became a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, performing repairs to tractors and trailers. From diagnosing and repairing, to fabricating frames and building trucks.

I then started having a passion for Mini Coopers, thus leading me to Bavarian Auto Haus in the winter of 2024. I have an infatuation with tools, how things work, building and painting miniature models, 3D modeling/printing, kayaking, camping, and most importantly, fixing anything I can get my hands on. I have dedicated my life to fixing things and take pride in my handiwork. My daughter calls me "The Fixer Daddy."

I enjoy working with this community and will continue to take pride in taking care of your vehicles for a safer, more enjoyable adventure

Eric Davidson

I've been with Bavarian Auto Haus since 2013, but my love for BMWs started way earlier. I was lucky enough to inherit a 1990 BMW 325i from my mom when I was younger, and that's really where it all began. Since then, my appreciation for German cars has only grown and working on them every day still puts a smile on my face.

When I'm not at the shop, you'll usually find me out hiking with my dogs, Jade and Tealy, or in the garage tinkering with my own cars. I've always believed that just because a car's getting older doesn't mean it's lost its spirit. There's still a lot of life (and fun) left in them if you give them the care they deserve.

Mykahilo Vovk

Hi! You know me as Mike, but my full name is Mykhailo, which is fairly common in my home country. My family and I moved from war-torn Ukraine in 2023 to seek a better future for ourselves and our little boys.

I've been passionate about cars my whole life - I could name all the makes by the age of three and started driving as soon as I could reach the gas pedal. I've always been into European cars, especially German ones. From running a small repair shop in Ukraine to working at Bavarian Auto Haus here in Reno, I treat every car as if it were my own. I truly enjoy working on a wide variety of vehicles and finding solutions to all kinds of issues.

Brenda Menard

I was a previous service advisor in the heavy equipment industry for 14 years and then in the automotive industry for 2 years before coming to Bavarian Auto Haus in September of 2023. I like being able to help our customers keep their cars in great condition and on the road.

I enjoy doing puzzles, watching movies, and spending time at the gym. I also like being with my cat, Smokey and spending time with my partner Tony. We have been together for 15 years.

Isaac de la Cruz

I have been interested in mechanical things as early as I can remember. My dad is a machinist so I spent a lot of time in machine shops working on metal, making parts, or fixing things. I first entered the auto industry as a technician in 2019, doing everything from oil services to replacing engines at the age of only 19. In April of 2023, I made the move to the front office at Bavarian Auto Haus where I use my technical knowledge to better help customers understand their cars and the repairs being made.

Outside of the shop, I like to spend time with my two cats, Frida and Diego. I also am a big fan of combat sports of any kind, frequently attending the local King of the Cage events, and sometimes even participating in them as a fighter.
